throughout its three editions, ‘pororoca’ has devoted itself to looking at the amazon from a broad perspective. in this context, the cultural aspects of the region mattered as much as the urgent ecological issues. therefore, the guidelines were broad — farofa recipes with ants, an interview with the anthropologist eduardo viveiros de castro, a profile on photographer and activist claudia andujar; photographs and images also occupied a large space on the pages of this publication, conceived by teté martinho and photographers rogério assis and everton ballardin.
