the city of são paulo is the subject of restiffe’s photo essay, transformed into an exhibition and a book by instituto moreira salles. in contrast to the black and white grainy images, the yellow text stands out, in a language that also references the city.
the book was part of the exhibition ‘photobooks, a current selection’, at sesc vila mariana, in 2015.
