a visual identity is comprised of elements that go beyond the design of a brand — and our project for the independent digital newspaper ‘nexo’ is an example of this.
the mission of this publication is to present topics relevant to a qualified public debate, in a clear and plural way, bringing context to the news and expanding access to data and statistics, in order to strengthen brazilian democracy. the logo, an articulated combination of elements, reflects this principle, which also reverberates on all pages and visual elements of the website.
the digital interfaces design was carried out in partnership with renato de almeida prado. the project was awarded best digital publication of 2016 by the society for news design (snd-spain).
