in 2011, we created the logo and printed programme for the international jazz festival that would take place at sesc pompeia. 

the festival’s success turned it into an annual event. so, in 2012 and 2013, we worked on the visual identities maintaining the logo of the first edition and its basic principles translating the music into graphics: improvisation, rhythm, metrics and counterpoint — always with vibrant colours and the same geometric typography, inspired by the 1920s and1930s, the period of popularization of jazz in the united states.  

for the 2012 edition, a folder including the festival schedule was distributed free of charge to the public in the form of a 70 × 100 cm composable poster. in 2013, a libretto was created to inform viewers and publicize the festival’s performances.
