    visual artist regina silveira’s flies have already had many lives – they were projected on building facades, animated on video, printed in silkscreen and cut out on vinyl. in these drawings, what seems to interest the artist is less the insect and more what is projected from it – the shadow in its monolithic density.

    in the book, sharing space in an insolent way with musil’s texts, they also seem to give shape to ‘our fear of the end, which always visibly weighs on man like a stone’, as the author says.
