ana elisa egreja’s hyper-realistic paintings demand different scales to be understood. it is necessary that they are seen in their entirety in order to understand the spatialities they create; at the same time, when closely looked at, they reveal the way they are made and, also, their picturesque details.
thus, the book’s graphic design alternates different approaches, from full view to details in the 1:1 scale of the paintings.
