the magazine novos estudos’ is published every four months by cebrap. published for more than forty years, the magazine features articles focusing on the fields of humanities, literature, law and the arts.
daniel trench, carlos fajardo and edu marin’s graphic design, carried out in 2007, established the ‘visual essay’ as a permanent section of the magazine. here, an artist is invited to develop a narrative that begins on the cover, and unfolds throughout the pages of the publication.
